Community Guidelines & Safety Policy
1. Purpose & Who This Applies To
Parada is a shared community of Renters/Drivers/Guests, Parking Owners, Car and Storage Hosts, and Commercial Operators. These Guidelines apply to every User across every vertical — Shared Parking, Commercial Parking, Car Rental, and Storage — and to every interaction on the platform, including listings, bookings, chat, reviews, and support.
2. Respect & Non-Discrimination
- Treat everyone with courtesy and good faith. Harassment, threats, intimidation, sexual misconduct, and hate speech are never allowed.
- Do not discriminate against anyone — for example on the basis of ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or civil status — in accepting, declining, or providing bookings.
- Respect the privacy of others: do not share another person's personal information, photos, or documents without their consent.
3. Honesty & Authentic Identity
- Use your real identity and accurate details. Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Listings must be accurate — real photos, correct location, honest condition, availability, and pricing. No bait-and-switch or hidden charges.
- Do not submit false, forged, or borrowed documents during verification (identity, residency, or driver's license).
4. Safety by Vertical
4.1 Parking (shared & commercial)
- Follow property, building, PMO, and facility rules, including quiet hours, access procedures, and staff instructions.
- Park only in your assigned slot or bay; never block fire lanes, ramps, exits, or PWD slots.
- Secure your vehicle and remove valuables; report hazards.
4.2 Car Rental
- Only licensed, authorized drivers named in the booking may drive. Never drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Obey traffic laws; no racing, off-road misuse, or use for hire (TNVS/taxi/delivery-for-hire) on a self-drive booking.
- In an emergency or accident, ensure safety, use the in-app SOS feature, contact the authorities where required, and notify the Host and Parada promptly.
- Return the vehicle on time and in the agreed condition; document pickup and return honestly.
4.3 Storage
- Store only lawful goods you own; never store prohibited or hazardous items (see the Storage Agreement).
- Respect access rules and keep the space and surroundings safe and clean.
5. Keep It On-Platform
Keep payments and booking communications on Parada. Do not solicit or accept off-platform payments, "bypass" a booking to avoid fees, or move a Parada relationship to a competing service. On-platform activity protects you: it preserves records, enables refunds and dispute support, and keeps our safety tools working.
6. Communication Standards
- Be clear and respectful in chat. No spam, unsolicited promotions, or harassment.
- The chat system automatically blocks messages that appear to share phone numbers, as an anti-circumvention and safety measure. Do not try to evade it.
- Administrators may access chat content only where necessary to investigate abuse, fraud, safety, or legal requests, and such access is logged (see the Privacy Policy).
7. Reviews & Content
- Reviews must reflect a genuine experience. No fake, incentivized, retaliatory, or coerced reviews.
- No content that is defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or that reveals another person's private information.
- Parada may moderate or remove content that breaks these Guidelines or the law.
8. Fraud & Account Integrity
- One identity per person; do not share your account or credentials, and do not create duplicate accounts to evade limits or enforcement.
- No payment fraud, fake bookings, promo abuse, or bad-faith chargebacks.
- Do not attempt to hack, scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the platform.
9. Reporting & What Happens Next
You can report a User, listing, message, or safety concern by:
- using the in-app report option where available;
- asking the support assistant to escalate to a human; or
- emailing [email protected].
We acknowledge reports, review them in good faith, may ask for more information, and take proportionate action. We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who reports a concern in good faith. Urgent safety threats should also be reported to the police or emergency services.
10. Enforcement Ladder
Depending on the severity and history, we may apply one or more of the following:
| Level | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | Warning and guidance |
| 2 | Feature restriction (for example, limiting listings, bookings, or chat) |
| 3 | Temporary suspension |
| 4 | Permanent termination and removal of listings |
11. Appeals
If your account or a listing is restricted, suspended, or terminated, you may appeal by emailing [email protected], ideally with any context or evidence. We review appeals in good faith and respond within a reasonable time. This appeals process is part of the internal redress mechanism described in the Terms and Conditions.
12. Cooperation with Authorities
We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement and regulators and may disclose information in response to a valid legal process or to protect the safety of our community, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may also proactively report conduct that appears to endanger people or violate the law.
